LeBron James says urging people – particularly African Americans – to go to the polls is not about swaying them to a candidate. I asked who heās endorsing for President of the United States in the upcoming election. @NBAonTNT pic.twitter.com/I4WLihehjU

His endorsement is just the latest for Biden and Harris in the basketball world in recent days. San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich endorsed the ticket, saying he stands for ātruth over lies,ā and Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr and Philadelphia 76ers coach Doc Rivers teamed up for a powerful ad for The Lincoln Project. The Seattle Storm endorsed Biden as a team last month, too.
James had led the charge with More Than A Vote to help get people across the country registered to vote, and has recruited countless stars in the sports world to help him out ā including Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara, Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard and Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., to name a few.
We hope that all this work to get Trump out of office works!
It’s sad to see rappers like Lil Wayne endorse a man who would turn his back on Weezy and let police beat him to death. Wayne is a True sellout.
